Tell It Like It Is

Kids are so much better at sharing their faith than we are. They just tell their friends what they learned in Sunday school, or invite friends to VBS, or pray for them by name in their nightly prayers. They’re so matter of fact and so often just say what they’re thinking…whatever it is.

I think that’s how John the Baptist, who we’ll hear about later this week, was. He didn’t back down from truth and he didn’t discriminate on who he told about Jesus. I wonder how we could be more like that?
